Call for the release of Syndicate activists!

We are writing to you on behalf of Workers Left Unity -Iran* to inform you that we are following news of the arrests and punishment of Syndicate activists in Turkey with great concern and we  know that the Turkish ministry of Justice is planning a trial of these workers on the 6th of June 2008.
Workers Left Unity-Iran, protests strongly against the  repression of syndicalist activists in Turkey and expresses its solidarity with worker activists who are fighting for workers rights to  organise, workers who are subsequently dismissed from their work , face persecution and arrests. We will do all  in our power to defend these workers. We demand:

-Immediate release of imprisoned workers
-Stop trial of these workers
-Respect the right of workers to set up their independent organisation freely
