Iranian workers protest against the participation of government set up organisations as workers representatives in ILO conference

According to information we have received the 93rd Session of the International Labour Conference will take place in Geneva 31^st May-16th June . We are sorry that once more , those representing Iranian workers? have not been elected as representatives and only represent the party associated with Khaneh Kargar (labour House) a government organisation.

With this letter, we independent organisations of workers announce that these participants are not the real representatives of Iranian workers, and register our strong opposition to their presence in the ILO gathering. As you are aware, Mr Hssan Sadeghi and Parviz Ahmadi Nik Panje were amongst those who? attacked the Syndicate headquarters and started beating up and injuring members of the newly found syndicate of Vahed Bus Company employees.? The criminal dossier regarding this attack is currently with section 11 of Tehran judicial committee following its procedure.

Through this letter we ask you to forbid the participation of these individuals in your session and that you take steps to allow the participation of genuine workers representatives from Iran.?
